As an "Ichi Hachi Yasan" (meaning "18th-century greengrocer") born in Hokkaido, we want to continue delivering safe, secure, and high-quality fresh food products. 

Hokkaido and Japan as a whole face a challenge: the pursuit of food quality and safety in spite of aging agricultural workers, limited traditional family-run farms, market changes, and shifting consumer eating habits.

We at KITAKA are optimistic. We believe this is a challenge worth facing, and one that we will overcome. 

One of our responses to this challenge is "ASIR", which supports the production, guidance, storage, and sales of food products. We take the perspective of farmers and fishermen while undertaking a key part of the agricultural work load.

KITAKA Group has supported Japan's food supply by purchasing high-quality fresh produce according to customer demands and delivering it at the desired quantity and price, with "Hokkashi" serving as the core of the fresh produce wholesale business. 

Now we will combine the power of "ASIR," a newly founded startup which directly faces the production site of agricultural products, with "Hokkashi," which has kept an eye on the market, in order to provide safe, secure, and high-quality fresh produce through the new agricultural process, "K-A FOOD VALUE CHAIN."

We, as "Ichi Hachi Yasan" born and raised here in Hokkaido, are filled with love for the agriculture, our northern land, and the seafood products we provide worldwide. We will continue to evolve steadily, step by step, without stopping or faltering. We look forward to the future of KITAKA Group.
